Our Story
Beginnings
Sana Sana Cerveceria, founded by Daniel Castro and Johnny De Luna, is their vision of bringing a cerveceria to their home state of Arizona. Their love for their cultura has given them an ability to create a community space for enjoying cerveza together. Johnny champions local Latino artists, working tirelessly to realize Sana Sana’s vision and honor their ancestors. Daniel, an American Brewers Guild graduate, is dedicated to crafting quality beer and is an enthusiast of Chicano culture and history. They have partnered with Greg Suschsland, the head brewer, who has experience from top California breweries like Hangar 24, Bottle Logic, and Helmsman. A fellow ABG graduate, Greg honors his German and Mexican roots by blending brewing methods from both cultures.

Cultura
Cultura plays a vital role in shaping the identity of Sana Sana Cerveceria, making it a welcoming space where the community can gather to enjoy a refreshing cerveza while celebrating our shared roots and traditions. This deep connection to our cultura not only enriches the experience of every patron but also creates a sense of belonging and unity among diverse individuals within the community, inviting everyone to partake in the joyful celebration of our history and values.
Cerveza
Sana Sana Cerveceria is focused on creating high-quality beers that honor our cultura by infusing familiar flavors and traditional ingredients. Each brew serves as a narrative of heritage, transforming cerveza into a medium for community connection and storytelling. By encouraging exploration of their culturally inspired offerings, Sana Sana aims to deepen appreciation for the diverse histories that define our identity, all within a welcoming environment for conversation and community.
